In addition to producing a wide array of innovative and high-quality vehicles, Toyota has long worked to make a positive impact in the community. Toyota continues this mission with the inaugural Drive4Five campaign, with five grants awarded to community-focused organizations in Michigan.
Five Grants in Michigan for the Toyota Drive4Five Initiative
The grants are reflective of the five pillars of Toyota’s community outreach program, including safety, mobility, STEM education, and environmental sustainability. In addition to providing direct financial assistance, the company will contribute volunteer hours from over 1800 team members at Toyota Motor North America Research & Development (TMNA R&D) Ann Arbor- and Saline-based research facilities.

The grant recipients for the Toyota Drive4Five Initiative include FIRST in Michigan: Toyota FIRST Fund with Teams For All, Community Foundation of Greater Flint: Upward Mobility, Food Gatherers: Summer Food Program, Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley: Rebuild A Community, and Huron River Watershed Council: Environmental STEM Education.
